Mark Reda has been on the NATAS Board since 2008. He has been the Awards Chair for 3 years. In 2015, he was inducted into the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of NATAS’s Silver Circle, honoring a quarter-century of work He and his wife Sheri have lived in Arizona since 1997. They have two children, Anthony, who lives in Portland, Oregon, and Brianna who lives in Reno, Nevada.
Mark is a member of the faculty at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. He is in his sixth year teaching there, currently instructing students in Live Sports Productions. Mark was awarded the Faculty Advisor of the Year in 2019.
Previously, Mark was the Producer of the Arizona Diamondbacks Broadcasts, which were awarded 7 regional Emmys from 1998 to 2007. From 2007 to 2016, Mark was the Coordinating Producer for Fox Sports Arizona, overseeing the production of live game broadcasts and original programming. During his tenure with FSAZ, Mark’s staff was awarded over 50 Emmys (with over 160 nominations) and the network was presented a Governor’s Award in 2010. In addition to his work at Cronkite, Mark continues doing production work. He is part of the Emmy-winning Arizona Cardinals Broadcast team that was awarded Emmys for Live Sporting Event in 2018 and 2019.
