2025 Holiday THANKS
Thank you to Chef Joey Maggiore and The Mexicano for generously hosting our Board Holiday Party and supporting our Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter.
2025 GOVERNORS' AWARD RECIPIENT
The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is proud to honor the Arizona Cardinals’ Civics Matters Arizona initiative with its highest distinction—the Governors’ Award. The program flies 275 high school students, many from Title I schools, to Washington, D.C. for an immersive, all-expenses-paid experience in civic education and leadership.
The success of the Emmy® Awards process depends on the willingness of qualified professionals (entrants) to serve as judges.
Professional peers in other NATAS Chapters judge our Chapter’s entries.
In return, Rocky Mountain Southwest peer professionals judge entries from other Chapters.
We have 10 judging opportunities from February-October/November, 2025.
The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Governors' Award is the highest award our chapter bestows upon an individual, group or organization within our region (Arizona, Utah, New Mexico or El Centro, CA). Historically, the Board of Governors' Award is for truly outstanding and unique accomplishments or for achievements of some duration and durability in our industry. We seek examples of excellence in broadcasting that go beyond those normally found in individual craft or program categories. The Board of Governors calls for nominations once a year. The award, in the form of a regional Emmy® statuette, is presented at the Rocky Mountain Emmy® Awards.
